It's true I love sophisticated words :

entreat

disputatious 

insolent

indolent

contentious

dejected

foreboding

diaphanous

cacophony

ethereal

enmity 

interpose

interject

scintillate

ominous

formidable

paramour

saudade

incredulous

ineffable

ductility

duplicitous

secular

apologist

and so forth...

So if you ever hear me use them,

it's not because I'm trying to impress

but that I love words

and am simply preserving the English language.
